The Children's Aid Society of London & Middlesex (CASLM) believes all children have the right to thrive in a safe, stable and loving family. Although our core services are 100% government funded, we rely on donations from corporations, organizations and individuals to offer additional support not provided elsewhere for children and youth served by our agency.

We are grateful for all donations received including TD Canada Trust grant money from the Children's Aid Foundation.

Please see below for Funds & Programs and How to Donate. Gift-in-Kind items that are new are accepted with gratitude.

Activities, prevention programs and educational support reduce the incidence of child abuse and neglect, and the need to come into CAS care. Through special programs and funds, children and youth are able to enjoy and experience the things that many of us take for granted, including summer camp, recreational activities throughout the year (music lessons, organized sports, art classes) and gifts during the holiday season.

  • Bright Futures Bursary Program Awards bursaries to youth in care to support their post-secondary education.

  • Educational Success Program - This programs assigns mentors to children to help guide and tutor them throughout their educational journey from elementary school until they graduate from post-secondary school.

  • Hopes and Dreams Fund - Recreational activities including camp, music lessons, organized sports, and art classes.

  • Emergency Funding - A crisis support fund to assist families in times of great need.  This emergency fund helps to ensure the basic needs of children are provided for such as food vouchers and clothing.  Please note that this fund is only accessed when no other resources are available.
  • Holiday Giving Campaign This annual campaign offers the joy of the season for children and youth served by our agency. The 2018 Holiday Giving Campaign was accessed by 514 families for 1,160 children and youth in the community. We are grateful for the generous support of individuals and organizations for several donations as well as numerous volunteer hours. Together, we made the holiday season brighter for children, youth and families in our local area.

Our Holiday Giving Collection 2019 runs from November 1st until Dec. 20th. Distribution to those registered with our program (children and youth receiving services through our agency, but not in care) occurs until Dec. 20th. This gives families time to wrap gifts and prepare for the holidays. Donation ideas include: baby toys, items for teens, craft and art kits, board games, Visa gift cards and pajamas in sizes infant to adult male and female. You can find our 2019 Wish List here.
